The sea coast in Pomorie is low, sandy, opened towards East and West and protected from North direction by the Balkan forests. The coast belt area is 18 700 sq. m and is spread on 7 km distance. The rich in iron sand covers the Pomorie bay. There is no such a concept as “away from the beach”, because the beach is a part of the town environment and lends extreme charm and attractiveness to the town. The coastline sea shelf is soft and even, having a slight inclination, without cliffs and rocks and cold sea streams – so it is safe for sea bathing.
